Chiefs player Rashee Rice under suspicion of assault following auto crash arrest
Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice is suspected of assault in Dallas after being involved in a high-speed crash. Rice is accused of assaulting someone at a nightclub and the victim went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Rice’s attorney, Texas state Sen. Royce West, did not respond to requests for comment. Rice and another player, Theodore Knox, are facing charges related to the crash, including aggravated assault. Four people were injured in the crash. Rice played in 20 games last season, including the Super Bowl. Both the Chiefs and NFL declined to comment on the situation.
