Chief’s Rice charged with aggravated assault following high-speed collision

Dallas police have charged Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice with aggravated assault after he and another speeding driver caused a chain-reaction crash on a highway in Dallas. Arrest warrants have been issued for Rice and the other driver, Theodore Knox, for multiple counts of assault and collision involving injury. Rice was driving a Lamborghini SUV at the time of the crash, while Knox was in a Corvette. The crash involved six vehicles and left four people with minor injuries. Rice took responsibility for his role in the wreck on social media. Both players were speeding in the left lane when they lost control. Rice, who grew up in Texas, was drafted by the Chiefs last year and has become a key player in their passing game.
