Chiefs Re-Sign DE Danna with $24M Contract
Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna has signed a three-year, $24 million deal to stay with the team. The 26-year-old had a standout season in 2023, recording career highs in tackles and sacks. Danna also started in all four of the Chiefs’ postseason games, including their Super Bowl victory. Despite ranking 80th in pass rush win rate among defensive linemen, Danna has been a valuable player for Kansas City since being drafted in 2020. In his time with the team, he has accumulated 128 tackles, 17 sacks, and four forced fumbles.
