Report: Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott have mutual interest in a reunion

Report: Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott interested in reuniting

The Dallas Cowboys and free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott are interested in reuniting, as reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The Cowboys are in need of a veteran running back after letting Tony Pollard go in free agency, while Elliott is looking for a job. If signed, the Cowboys may still draft a running back as their starter. Currently, the team has several running backs on their roster. Elliott, who spent the first seven years of his career with the Cowboys before being released, had a down year in 2021 but led the team in rushing and receptions. He has previously earned Pro Bowl honors three times.
