Dan Patrick Gives Jason Kelce Tips on Broadcasting at ESPN
ESPN is aggressively pursuing retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce for their “Monday Night Football” coverage. Dan Patrick believes Kelce may want to pass on ESPN’s offers because of the network’s demand for involvement in various shows. Patrick thinks Kelce’s unique voice should be featured in just one place and not overexposed. NBC, CBS, and Amazon Prime Video are also interested in Kelce for their NFL-related programs. Amazon may even become the home of the “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast. Kelce could potentially sign a one-day-a-week deal with ESPN or agree to terms with another NFL media partner before August preseason games start. CBS has openings for its “The NFL Today” studio show as an option for Kelce.
