Cleveland Browns ink deal with kicker Cade York
The Browns have re-signed kicker Cade York to a one-year, $940,000 contract after cutting him last year. Veteran Dustin Hopkins remains on the roster with a base salary of $2.875 million. Hopkins had a successful season in 2023, converting 33 of 36 field goals and setting team records. The Browns originally drafted York in the fourth round in 2022, but he signed with the Titans’ practice squad before being picked up by the Giants. York struggled in his rookie season but now has the opportunity to prove himself with the Browns once again.
