Cowboys cut ties with LB Vander Esch and WR Gallup
The Dallas Cowboys released linebacker Leighton Vander Esch and wide receiver Michael Gallup due to injuries and performance issues. Vander Esch, a former Pro Bowler, struggled with neck injuries throughout his career, while Gallup failed to regain form after tearing his ACL in 2021. The Cowboys signed Eric Kendricks and are looking to Jalen Tolbert to step up in their absence.
