LB Turner Signs One-Year Free-Agent Contract with 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers have signed former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Ezekiel Turner to a one-year contract. Turner, who spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Cardinals, is known for his special teams contributions. He recorded 83 combined tackles and three tackles for loss in his career. With Oren Burks leaving for the Philadelphia Eagles and Dre Greenlaw recovering from injury, Turner’s signing fills a void in both special teams and the linebackers room for the 49ers. Turner, 27, will have the opportunity to showcase his skills at linebacker and continue his strong performance on special teams in San Francisco.
