Panthers bolster defense with signing of safety Fuller
The Carolina Panthers signed safety Jordan Fuller to a one-year contract to bolster their defense, replacing Vonn Bell who signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Fuller, 26, started all 17 games for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023, finishing the season with three interceptions and three forced fumbles. In his four NFL seasons, Fuller has accumulated 7 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 17 passes defended, and 279 total tackles. The Bengals and Panthers matchup in 2024 is eagerly anticipated by Bell, who sees it as “bulletin-board material.” Fuller was the Rams’ sixth-round pick in 2020 and quickly earned a starting spot as a rookie.
