Mick Lombardi, former Raiders OC, joins 49ers coaching staff
The 49ers have added former Raiders offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi to their coaching staff. Lombardi, who previously worked for the 49ers in various roles from 2013-2016, brings experience from coaching with the Patriots and Jets. He most recently followed former Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to the Raiders in 2022. The 49ers lost three members of their offensive coaching staff after the season, prompting the hiring of Lombardi. Lombardi is the son of former NFL executive Michael Lombardi and will be taking on a yet-to-be-titled role on the 49ers coaching staff.
