Packers modify LB Rashan Gary’s contract in new report
The Green Bay Packers have restructured linebacker Rashan Gary’s contract in order to clear cap space. Gary, whose salary cap hit was sixth-highest on the team, will now have a reduced cap hit of $4.781 million. However, there will be a cap charge of $1.59 million each season from 2025-2027. Despite this, the move allows the Packers to free up some much-needed cap space. Gary had an impressive season last year, with 44 tackles, nine sacks, 22 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles in 17 games.
