Kansas City Chiefs Players Share Their Reactions to Shooting at Super Bowl Parade

Tragedy struck at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII championship parade when shots were fired near Union Station in downtown Kansas City. Between 10-15 people were injured and one died. Chiefs players, coaches, and staff were all accounted for, and FS1’s “First Things First” crew was safe. Witnesses reported that Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid and several players helped comfort bystanders during the chaos, and some players shared reactions on social media. Despite the shooting, the Chiefs’ parade ended triumphantly, and players and officials spoke at the end-of-parade rally.
