Chiefs offensive X-factor questionable for Super Bowl

Uncertainty surrounds the Chiefs’ offensive X-factor for Super Bowl

The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to have running back Jerick McKinnon back for the Super Bowl, as he is listed as questionable due to a groin injury. All-Pro guard Joe Thuney and offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho are officially ruled out. McKinnon is known for being the team’s best receiving option from the running back spot and played in 12 games during the regular season, making 25 catches for 192 yards and four touchdowns. While head coach Andy Reid considers it a “long shot” for McKinnon to play, the team is leaving the possibility open as he returns to practice.
