Andy Reid of the Chiefs speaks out about retirement rumors ahead of potential third Super Bowl win in 2024
Despite offensive struggles in the regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs are in their fourth Super Bowl in five years. There’s speculation that head coach Andy Reid, 66, could retire after the game. However, Reid has dismissed these rumors and plans to keep on coaching. He has won eight straight AFC West titles and has 25 postseason wins. A win at the Super Bowl would give Reid three titles, putting him in a select group of winning coaches. With star players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, as well as having the No. 2 defense in the NFL, it’s clear why Reid is not ready to hang up his clipboard just yet.
