Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, was arrested for driving while intoxicated for the third time in Smith County, Texas. He was released on Sunday on a third-degree felony charge that carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison if he is convicted. This comes as his son is preparing to start in his fourth Super Bowl. If Mahomes II wins, he can become the fifth quarterback to win three Super Bowls, and if he wins MVP, he will join Magic Johnson as the only players to win three championship round MVPs before age 29. The Chiefs are scheduled to arrive in Vegas Sunday afternoon.
