Report: Atlanta Falcons Set to Hire Raheem Morris as Next Head Coach
The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly planning to hire LA Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris as their next head coach. Morris was the interim coach for the Falcons for the final 11 games of the 2020 season, posting a 4-7 record. He previously coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-11. The Falcons interviewed 13 candidates for the position after firing Arthur Smith following a third straight 7-10 season. They have not had a winning season or made the playoffs since 2017.
