The Patriots have extended offers to Bill Belichick’s sons to come back
Bill Belichick’s sons, Steve and Brian, have been offered jobs to stay with the New England Patriots under new head coach Jerod Mayo’s staff. Steve Belichick has been a defensive assistant with the Patriots since 2012 and Brian Belichick has been in his role since 2020. Patriots owner Robert Kraft may allow Mayo to deal with the rest of the coaching staff himself, including the possibility of Mayo conducting a full search for an offensive coordinator. Mayo, a former All-Pro and Pro Bowl linebacker for the Patriots, was hired to replace Belichick and is now the youngest head coach in the NFL at 37 years old.
