Sam LaPorta’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Rams is in question.
Lions tight end Sam LaPorta may be available for Sunday’s game against the Rams after participating fully in Friday’s practice despite a previous knee injury. Head coach Dan Campbell said LaPorta would “run around” and get some reps during practice, and the team will monitor his knee before deciding if he will play. Defensive end John Cominsky is also questionable, while cornerback Jerry Jacobs, tight end James Mitchell, receiver Kalif Raymond, and linebacker James Houston are out. Defensive back Brian Branch, center Frank Ragnow, cornerback Cam Sutton, receiver Jameson Williams, and tight end Brock Wright are all healthy and set to play.
