Amon-Ra St. Brown may be used by Lions on punt returns on Sunday
The Detroit Lions may use wide receiver St. Brown as a punt returner on Sunday due to an injury to their regular returner, Khalif Raymond. Special teams coordinator Dave Fipp mentioned that St. Brown, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Mo Alexander are options for the role. St. Brown has no NFL return experience but did it in college, while Peoples-Jones has returned punts for the Cleveland Browns. Alexander has experience returning kickoffs for the Lions and was an All-Conference-USA punt returner in college. Fipp ruled out using wide receiver Jameson Williams, even though he was a successful return man in college with Alabama.
