Dolphins release three-time Pro Bowler and activate RB from IR
Jason Pierre-Paul was signed off the Saints practice squad by the Dolphins, but after only two games with limited playing time, the Dolphins waived him. This move clears a roster spot for running back Chris Brooks, who was activated from IR. Pierre-Paul can be eligible for Miami’s practice squad if he clears waivers, but the Dolphins recently brought back Melvin Ingram. This action came after the Dolphins placed starting linebacker Jerome Baker on IR with an MCL injury. Additionally, Miami has other players on their roster to fill the gap left by JPP, including Bradley Chubb, Andrew Van Ginkel, Emmanuel Ogbah, and Cameron Goode.
