Darius Slay to be sidelined following arthroscopic knee surgery
Eagles cornerback Darius Slay underwent knee surgery and will miss some time, but the team does not plan to put him on Injured Reserve. The 32-year-old has been dealing with the knee injury for a while and missed practice last week but played against the Cowboys. The hope is that the surgery will allow him to be healthy for the playoffs. The Eagles have options to replace Slay, including Kelee Ringo, Josh Jobe, and Eli Ricks. Slay’s absence will be felt in the upcoming game against the Seahawks, who have a strong receiving trio.
