Undrafted rookie Malik Cunningham chose to join the Baltimore Ravens over staying with the New England Patriots’ practice squad after being told the Ravens plan to develop him as a quarterback. He is excited to be reunited with former college teammate and mentor Lamar Jackson. Although primarily viewed as a quarterback, Cunningham will also play at wide receiver and on special teams. He is hoping to make the most of his new opportunity with the Ravens and prove himself as a dynamic playmaker. If he remains on the roster for the rest of the regular season, he will become an exclusive-rights free agent, allowing him to re-sign with the Ravens this offseason.
