Steelers’ Pass Rusher T.J. Watt Enters Concussion Protocol
Pittsburgh Steelers pass rusher T.J. Watt is in the concussion protocol after reporting symptoms following the team’s loss to the Patriots. To return to play, Watt must be cleared by an independent neurologist, and the Steelers’ next game is against the Indianapolis Colts. Watt was injured in the first play of the Thursday night game when Ezekiel Elliott’s knee hit him in the face. Despite coming off the field for several snaps, Watt returned to play 90% of defensive snaps. Additionally, the Steelers’ other starting pass rusher, Alex Highsmith, is also dealing with a neck injury after exiting the game against the Patriots.
