Goodell predicts NFL will expand globally with increased international games in next 5-10 years
The NFL played five games outside of the United States this season and Roger Goodell believes that the league can become a global sport. He stated that the NFL could have sold over 4.5 million tickets for two games in Germany and wants to see a global NFL within the next five to ten years. The NFL is also planning to return to Mexico and may soon play games in Brazil and Spain. While some American fans are not happy about the expanded opportunity for games overseas, the NFL is thinking big internationally with plans to continue expanding outside of the United States.
