Rams working out kickers to replace Brett Maher, including Packers great Mason Crosby, per report

Report: Rams Considering Kickers in Search for Brett Maher’s Replacement, Including Packers’ Mason Crosby

The Los Angeles Rams have released kicker Brett Maher after he missed two field goals and an extra point in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are now considering signing free agent kicker Mason Crosby, who played 16 seasons with the Green Bay Packers and is the team’s all-time leading scorer. Crosby’s contract with the Packers expired this offseason and he was replaced by rookie Anders Carlson. The Rams will face the Dallas Cowboys, coached by Mike McCarthy, in their next game, and McCarthy has compared his current kicker to Crosby.
