Report: Christian McCaffrey of the 49ers sustains oblique injury in defeat to Browns

In Week 6, the San Francisco 49ers suffered their first loss of the season to the Cleveland Browns and also faced a key injury to Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey left the game with an oblique injury and headed to the locker room. He had a total of 52 scrimmage yards and a 13-yard receiving touchdown before his injury. McCaffrey’s touchdown streak tied him with John Riggins and O.J. Simpson for the second-most consecutive games with a touchdown in NFL history. The 49ers currently have a 15-game regular season winning streak, tying their longest streak from the 1989 and 1990 seasons.
