Week 5 Grading: Desmond Ridder Shines, C.J. Stroud Shows Slight Dip
In Week 5, there were several quarterbacks who saw playing time. Kenny Pickett of the Steelers did not make much progress. Each quarterback’s performance was analyzed, taking into account their throws and plays. Pickett had some high-caliber throws, but also had some low-caliber ones. He was not impressive overall. Ridder had a strong game, showing confidence and improved velocity. Howell had a mixed performance, with impressive throws but also some misses. Purdy had a solid game with good throws. Stroud looked more like a rookie, but made a great throw to give his team the lead late. Richardson had a decent game before getting injured.
