RB Conner placed on IR due to knee injury
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner has been placed on injured reserve following a knee injury he suffered in Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Conner will miss at least the next four games while on IR. The injury occurred during a 35-yard run in the second quarter, and Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon speculated that Conner’s foot may have gotten stuck in the ground, causing the twist. Conner leads the team in rushing yards with 364 and has two rushing touchdowns. The Cardinals’ running back depth has also been affected, with backup Keaontay Ingram inactive due to a neck injury.
