Browns’ Chubb has 1st of 2 surgeries on knee

Browns Running Back Chubb Undergoes First Knee Surgery in a Series of Two

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb underwent surgery to repair ligament damage in his left knee. The surgery was successful in repairing damage to Chubb’s medial capsule, meniscus, and medial collateral ligament. He will undergo a second surgery in the future to repair the anterior cruciate ligament. The team has mentioned that Chubb could potentially return during the 2024 season. Chubb suffered the injury during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. This is the same knee that he had previously injured while in college. Chubb has been a consistent performer, rushing for over 1,000 yards in four consecutive seasons.
