Brock Purdy makes NFL history: 49ers QB extends this improbable streak with Thursday night win over Giants

Brock Purdy Continues Improbable Streak, Makes NFL History with Thursday Night Victory over Giants as 49ers QB

Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers has set a new NFL record with eight consecutive regular-season wins to start his career. This places him third on the all-time list, behind Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomczak. Purdy’s streak started in Week 13 of the 2022 season and the 49ers are currently the favorites to win the Super Bowl this year. If Purdy’s streak makes it to Week 12 and the 49ers beat the Seahawks, he will surpass Roethlisberger for the longest winning streak to start a quarterback’s career. Purdy has already made history by winning his first six starts with multiple touchdowns in each game and a QB rating of at least 95.
