According to NFL Network analytics expert Cynthia Frelund, the Carolina Panthers’ toughest opponents for the 2023 regular season will be the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Dallas Cowboys. Frelund used estimated win totals for every team by simulating all 272 games 100,000 times using projected 53-man rosters. The Panthers’ opponents were then ranked based on their results. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans were ranked the lowest on the list, while the Panthers will play the Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans, and Green Bay Packers in what are considered mid-level matches.
