Bears CB Kyler Gordon set for 2026 debut after PUP activation

Bears CB Kyler Gordon Readies for 2026 Debut Following PUP Activation

Courtney Cronin, an ESPN journalist since 2017, reports that Chicago Bears cornerback Kyler Gordon has been activated from the physically unable to perform list after rehabbing a calf injury that kept him out for four games. Head coach Ben Johnson expressed confidence in Gordon’s ability to contribute this season. Meanwhile, the team placed defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo on injured reserve and signed Nick McCloud. Despite injuries limiting Gordon’s play in previous seasons, he signed a three-year, $40 million extension in 2025. Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen noted Gordon’s potential to help the team win games when ready.
