Jalen Hurts Landed on Injured Reserve Following Blood Clot Diagnosis

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was placed on injured reserve after being diagnosed with a blood clot in his calf following an injury during the October 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Initially ruled out for the Eagles’ upcoming game against Carolina, Hurts reported the injury to the medical staff after practice on October 8. An ultrasound on October 10 revealed a superficial blood clot. While doctors concluded Hurts could safely play, they recommended a follow-up ultrasound post-game. He attended practice before the team’s trip to London for an upcoming game against Jacksonville.
