Giants Players Make Their Stance on Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy Clear Following Victory Against Cardinals
After a shaky start against the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants QB Jameis Winston led the team to a 36-24 comeback victory, improving their record to 3-1. Despite two interceptions, Winston completed 18-of-29 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. Giants players, including right guard Francis Mauigoa and running back Cam Skattebo, praised his leadership and resilience. The team seems committed to Winston as the starting quarterback, allowing backup J.J. McCarthy time to settle in. Running back Najee Harris affirmed, “Jameis is our leader,” as the Giants prepare for their upcoming game against the Washington Commanders.
