Cowboys Allegedly Trade for CB Joey Porter Jr. from the Steelers
Joey Porter Jr. has not played this season for the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a back injury and is now set to be traded to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick. This move comes as the Cowboys aim to improve their defense under newly hired coordinator Christian Parker after a slow start. Porter, a second-round pick in 2023, established himself as a solid cornerback over two seasons with Pittsburgh. This trade marks the second time Dallas has acquired a key Steelers player, following their earlier acquisition of offensive tackle Broderick Jones.
