Comparing the proficiency of Cowboys’ backup offensive linemen
The Dallas Cowboys have a good starting offensive line, but they have struggled to find quality reserves when their starters get injured. The team is hoping that one or more of their backup offensive linemen can step up and fill in if needed. Josh Ball has been the most consistent and impressive player so far, showing strength and good pass protection. Asim Richards, a rookie, has also impressed with his blocking skills. Matt Farniok has been inconsistent, while Matt Waletzko has struggled with footwork and balance. Brock Hoffman has shown potential in run blocking but has weaknesses in pass protection. UDFA T.J. Bass has also made a strong impression with his fight and hand usage. Overall, Josh Ball seems to be the most likely candidate to step up if a starter goes down.
