From the NFL to the Silver Screen: Joshua Kelley’s Journey into Filmmaking
Joshua Kelley pursued his NFL dream after being drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020. Over four seasons, he contributed as a running back with 1,148 yards. However, as he transitioned to the New York Giants and later the Tennessee Titans, he realized his passion was shifting towards filmmaking. Kelley began writing scripts during his time off, culminating in two self-financed short films, “No Chaser” and “Leverage.” He aims to inspire former athletes to pivot creatively post-career. Now, as a writer and director, Kelley finds fulfillment and control in filmmaking, cherishing the excitement of his new journey.
