Ravens Add Former 49ers Kicker Jake Moody to Practice Squad
The Ravens are adding competition for second-year kicker Tyler Loop by signing Jake Moody to their practice squad. Loop, who struggled during the preseason with only five of eight successful field goals, raised concerns about his performance and consistency. Despite a strong rookie season converting 88.2% of kicks, he faltered in critical moments, including a missed 44-yarder that ended the Ravens’ season. Moody, released by the Commanders after battling for a spot, showed promise at the end of the previous season, converting 18 of 20 attempts.
