Steelers Trade Broderick Jones to Cowboys: Draft Picks Analysis and Trade Grades

The Dallas Cowboys have acquired offensive tackle Broderick Jones from the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2026 season, strengthening their offensive line. In exchange, Dallas sends third- and sixth-round picks in 2027 to the Steelers, who also include a 2027 fourth-round pick in the deal. Jones, a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, started 11 games in 2025 before suffering a neck injury. Pittsburgh had already selected a replacement, Max Iheanachor, and declined Jones’s fifth-year option. The trade benefits both teams: the Cowboys gain depth at tackle, while the Steelers secure valuable draft capital.
