Bears’ Tyson Bagent builds chemistry with reserve wide receivers

Bears’ Tyson Bagent Develops Chemistry with Backup Wide Receivers

In a 24-15 preseason victory over the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent excelled, completing 16 of 17 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Reserve wide receiver Maurice Alexander led with seven receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown, while Zavion Thomas shone with five receptions for 140 yards, including a 97-yard touchdown. Thomas also contributed with a 39-yard punt return and a 22-yard kickoff return. Bagent praised Thomas’s debut, calling it a “huge confidence boost.” With his speed, Thomas could enhance the already dynamic Bears offense, especially with key receivers resting during the game.
