Dolphins Allegedly Trade WR Tutu Atwell to Rams for RB Jarquez Hunter
The Los Angeles Rams are reacquiring former wide receiver Tutu Atwell from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for running back Jarquez Hunter. Atwell, a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, returns to the Rams after five months with the Dolphins, where he signed a one-year contract. He has recorded five receiving touchdowns in 64 games and was part of the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI roster, although he missed the second half of that season due to a shoulder injury. Hunter will bolster Miami’s running back depth after contributing mainly on special teams in his rookie season. The Rams start their season against the 49ers on Sept. 10.
