O.J. Brigance, a Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens, passed away at 56 after battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The Ravens mourned the loss, describing him as a beloved mentor and energetic figure. Diagnosed with ALS in 2007, Brigance and his wife founded the Brigance Brigade Foundation to support those affected by the disease. Despite using a wheelchair and communication device, he continued to serve as a senior adviser for player engagement. A former linebacker, Brigance played for several teams before his career concluded in 2002. He was celebrated for his spirit and positivity.
