Cowboys Update: Multiple Former Dallas Players Remain Free Agents
The Cowboys have significantly revamped their linebacker corps this offseason, adding eight players, including rookies Malachi Lawrence and Jaishawn Barham, and veterans Rashan Gary, Dee Winters, and Curtis Robinson. Currently, the team is assessing the best roles for each player, with Liufau being shifted from the inside. Over two seasons, Liufau has struggled, allowing 35 receptions on 39 targets and an 18.4% missed tackle rate. While he has recorded 3.0 sacks, his ineffectiveness in coverage and against the run led the Cowboys to seek improvements by moving him outside to better utilize his skills.
