Sources: Packers and WR Christian Watson Finalize $110.5M Extension
The Green Bay Packers have extended their top two receivers, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed, with long-term contracts. Watson agreed to a four-year, $110.5 million deal with a $31 million signing bonus, following Reed’s three-year, $50.25 million extension. Watson, returning from injury, excelled last season with 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns. He expressed gratitude on social media for his extension. The Packers allowed receiver Romeo Doubs to leave for the Patriots and traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles, but Watson remains optimistic about the team’s receiving corps, which includes Reed and first-round pick Matthew Golden.
