Former Cowboys DT Solomon Thomas to Host Anniversary Gala for The Defensive Line
On June 5, former Dallas Cowboy Solomon Thomas will host a 5-Year Anniversary Gala for his nonprofit, The Defensive Line (TDL), at the Communities Foundation of Texas. Founded after the loss of his sister to suicide, TDL focuses on preventing youth suicide by fostering adult-youth connections. This event, coinciding with Men’s Mental Health Month, will gather over 100 athletes, NFL legends, and community leaders for discussions and wellness activities. Catering is provided by Café Momentum, which supports justice-involved youth through culinary training and life skills. TDL aims to make a significant impact in mental health education and suicide prevention.
