Source: Giants Eyeing Malik Nabers for Week 1 Following Second Surgery
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers recently underwent a second knee surgery, a “cleanup” procedure to remove scar tissue following his ACL tear last September. Despite facing recovery challenges, including stiffness and prior surgeries, the Giants hope he will return by Week 1, with the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 13. Nabers, who had a standout rookie season, recorded 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. The team reshaped its receiving corps this offseason, losing Wan’Dale Robinson to the Titans and adding new players, while veteran Darius Slayton also underwent surgery.
