Mike Tomlin to Join NBC as NFL Studio Analyst, Sources Confirm
Mike Tomlin, the former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, will not be on the NFL sidelines this fall for the first time in 20 years. He is joining NBC’s “Football Night in America” as a studio analyst, marking a shift in his career after resigning from the Steelers in January. Tomlin, who had a successful 19-season tenure with a record of 193-114-2, won Super Bowl XLIII at age 36, becoming the youngest coach to do so at the time. His last game was a postseason loss to the Houston Texans in January, and he joins former Steelers coach Bill Cowher in broadcasting.
