LB Anthony Walker Announces Retirement from NFL After Nine Seasons
Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. announced his retirement on Thursday after nine NFL seasons. The 30-year-old expressed gratitude for 26 years in football in an Instagram statement. Drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, Walker recorded over 100 tackles in three different seasons. Last year, he played two games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being signed from the Colts’ practice squad. Over his career, he accumulated 581 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and four interceptions in 101 games, playing for the Colts, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and Buccaneers.
