“Schottenheimer Plans to Discuss Post-Game Matters with Pickens”
Todd Archer, an NFL reporter at ESPN covering the Dallas Cowboys, reported that coach Brian Schottenheimer plans to speak with wide receiver George Pickens about a social media post responding to criticism from Richard Sherman. Sherman had called out Pickens for looking uninterested during a game. Pickens deleted the post but later pointedly called out Sherman. Schottenheimer defended Pickens, saying he did not see a lack of effort in the game and highlighted Pickens’ career highs in catches, yards, and touchdowns. Meanwhile, CeeDee Lamb, who suffered a concussion in the game, is in the concussion protocol but is expected to recover with the extra time before the Cowboys’ next game on Dec. 14.
