Saints confirm agreement to add DL Jonah Williams to active roster
Defensive end Jonah Williams played for the Saints in Week 1 on a practice squad elevation and is now being signed to the 53-man roster for a longer stay. He had one tackle in his debut game and has a total of 81 tackles and 2.5 sacks in his career. The Saints are ruling out defensive end Chase Young for the second week in a row, but Cam Jordan, Carl Granderson, and Chris Rumph are set to play. Williams signed with the Saints this offseason and returned to the practice squad after being released in August.
